Math shouldn't be boring. At Maker Math we ditch the worksheets and build real things — one student, one 3D printer, one breakthrough at a time.
Maker Math is a one-on-one math tutoring program that replaces worksheets with 3D printers. We work with students from kindergarten through calculus — including kids who are struggling, bored, or differently wired with dyslexia, dyscalculia, or ADHD.
Every session is tailored to your child's level. We don't move on until a concept is truly mastered. And along the way, students build physical tools they designed themselves — tools that make math click in a way a textbook never could.
In-person in Camp Hill, PA and Avon, NC — or fully online, with custom tools mailed right to your door.
When a student designs and prints a triangle model that physically shows why angles add up to 180°, they don't just memorize it — they own it. Our 3D printing process transforms abstract concepts into objects you can hold, examine, and keep forever.
Students also absorb physics, engineering, and design thinking along the way — because when you're building real things, those subjects are impossible to separate from the math.
Three pillars that make Maker Math different from every other tutoring program out there.
Every student gets undivided attention. Lessons are paced to the individual — no rushing ahead, no leaving anyone behind. We meet students exactly where they are.
Students learn to design in CAD software and watch their models come to life on a 3D printer. Math becomes tangible — something you can actually touch and explore.
Every manipulative is designed by the student for their specific concept. No generic counting bears — each tool is personal, purpose-built, and theirs to keep.
Tell us about your child and we'll find the right fit. Sessions available in-person or online.
